NEW FINISHER AREA FROM 2026

HUK BEACH AND PARK, BYGDØY.

We are moving the finish line to Huk!
This means that the final five kilometers will run along the scenic peninsula of Bygdøy, with the finish arch located by the beach at Huk.

Huk is a beautiful park area featuring a beach, pier, diving tower, outdoor shower, toilets, drinking fountains, large grassy areas, and permanent barbecue grills.
And in time, there will also be the reopening of the legendary Strandrestaurant! It is currently undergoing renovation and is expected to reopen in either 2026 or 2027.
(If it is not finished by May 30, 2026, there may be a large construction site office instead...)

At the finish there is also the café Paa Huk, which serves great coffee, ice cream, lunch, and baked goods.

Baggage pickup (participants hand in a small bag at the start, which we transport to the finish) will be located near the parking area.
From there, there are bus connections back to the city center (10–20 minutes travel time) as well as city bikes.

An area set up map will be published later, showing where participants finish, the baggage area, food and drink stations, the prize-giving area,
and where there will be a restricted zone for spectators a few meters before the finish line for safety reasons.

Otherwise, the park will of course remain open to everyone, and both participants and organizer must show consideration for normal public use of the area.

We hope that participants who live in Oslo will invite friends and family to come cheer them on—and maybe bring a cooler too?

At Huk, everything is set for a picnic!
