– Yes, thank you, I am still doing trail running and some international races. I was the winner of the Zugspitzen Ultratrail last summer (42km), and some other smaller races.
I am also member of the international Trailrunningteam Adidas TERREX. So yes, trail running is still quit important for me! I just love running outside and feel my body.
How do you mentally and physically deal with MS?
– I can handle my MS quite well and I am still not taking any medication.
But there are also some difficult times where I really have to reduce training and give time to my body for recovery after a big pick of MS.
Mostly there are my legs, that are affected with deep muscle pains or sensitive dysfunctions.
We remember very well you smiling and beeing relaxed on the start line back in 2016. Do you have good memories from Ecotrail Oslo?
– Yes I only have the best memories from the Ecotrail. It was such niche experience to run out of the city up tho Holmenkollen, back down to the see and the finish next to the Opera.
Also the community on the trail and beside was just so nice and I would like to come back once again!
You are more than welcome! Whats your 3 tips to the 80k runners on May 25th Ecotrail Oslo?
1. First of all, just envoy the moment of being outside and do what you love: trail running
2. On the other hand the nutrition plan is quit important. Take your time for drinking and eating that you have enough of energy .
3. To be patient: 80km is quit long . So do not start to fast, find a good rhythm and speed up in the end (if there is still some energy left.
