Women running

So far, 1823 men and 1505 women have registered for Ecotrail Oslo on May 24. 
Several of these were in elementary school when women were not allowed to participate in races. 
It is equally gratifying to see that over 60 nationalities have registered, most of them residing in Norway. 
Today, all the important causes for women's rights are being marked around the world - which in Norway may seem a little distant to the younger generation.
